Riverside Motel

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakeside cabin. The setting couldn’t be more peaceful — surrounded by tall pine trees with a perfect view of the lake. The kids spent hours exploring the woods, skipping rocks, and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit, while we relaxed in the Adirondack chairs just soaking in the view. The cabin itself is clean, cozy, and has everything a family needs for a comfortable stay. The big windows looking out to the water make you feel connected to nature even when you’re inside. We enjoyed having breakfast with the morning sun shining through the trees and quiet evenings by the fire as the lake turned still. It’s a wonderful place to slow down, unplug, and spend real quality time together. We’re already talking about coming back — it truly felt like our own little slice of paradise in the Northwoods.

Clean warm and comfortable rooms at a fair price. Staff was very friendly and accommodated my dog and I on short notice. Plus, there is a super cool guitar shop in the lobby. Skip the franchise hotels and spend your money with a local business.

I had a terrific stay here this weekend, and I could not be more pleased with the service and hospitality! Such friendly and welcoming owners! The room was perfectly cleaned and prepared as well, and I would recommend anyone to stay here if taking a trip to Hayward, Wisconsin!

I had a wonderful stay at the Riverside Motel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I stayed in a waterfront room with an amazing view of the snow-covered lake! The room itself was spacious, clean, and very well kept, making it a comfortable place to relax. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which really made the stay feel special. I would absolutely recommend this motel to anyone visiting Hayward, Wisconsin, and would gladly stay here again!

Room was amazing! Pay the extra for river view! Retro motel! Clean rooms . Seating on the balcony. Owner was very friendly! Definitely would stay there again!

Stayed here for a night and I can say that it is the nicest motel that I have ever stayed in. The room was extremely clean and the bathroom was beyond impressive with amazing tile work. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure that we had a great place to park our boat. I would recommend this place to anyone a true gem in Hayward.

It was a very quiet and relaxing place to go for a night and have mini golf and go karts right next to it for the kids! Beautiful scenery. Staff were welcoming..Thank you ...will come again!

We stopped here for a night on a long motorcycle ride. The owner Szymon and his wife were very accommodating. He gave our whole group a ride to a local supper club for dinner. The next morning it was raining and they provided us with extra hand towels so we could dry off our bikes and told us there was no rush to check out due to the rain. The room decor is a little dated but very clean and plenty comfortable. If you're into guitars they have a small guitar resale shop in the front office. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, well maintained old school family run motel. The owner is a pleasure to speak with and has been very accommodating. The room has everything you need, sheets and pillow cases are clean and comfortable. And reasonably priced! I would definitely recommend this roadside gem, you might pass by if you blink, but don't. And you can pick up a cool guitar from this unique spot too! The owner is a musician and repairs guitars with a nice showcase in the front office.

Cannot recommend this place enough. My colleague and I stayed for a night on a work trip and loved the Riverside. Kind and helpful young owners; immaculately cleaned rooms; surprisingly pleasant common area on the water. Very charming spot.
